Life Events in the Family

In this video, host Dr. Mariana Martinez interviews Priscilla Friesen, LICSW, and faculty member of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family. Ms. Friesen’s particular interest is in how the physiology, psychology and behavior is influenced by the family over generations. She discusses variation in the ability of families to cope with the progression of lifecycle events like births, deaths, marriage, etc.
